THE INTERNATIONAL NEURODIVERSITY CONFERENCE
The International Neurodiversity Conference, organised by NeuroKinds—a neurodiversity hub in the Middle East—brings together regional and global communities committed to advancing neuroinclusion across sectors.
As we plan the 2027 edition of the INC, we stand as an ecosystem driving global & non-discriminatory expertise distribution, promoting neuro-affirmative attitudes and practices, and prioritising human connection across cultures.

UAE NEURO-INCLUSION FORUM
For the first time in the United Arab Emirates, stakeholders from across education, research, policy, and practice came together with a shared mission: to help build a more inclusive society.
This landmark meeting, generously sponsored by the University of Birmingham Dubai, focused on defining national research priorities for the UAE. The aim was clear—to identify where evidence-based research can drive the most meaningful and lasting impact.
The panel discussion centred on lived experiences, emerging research needs, and neuro-inclusion as an opportunity for growth and innovation and featured distinguished contributors including Dr. Sameera AlObeidli, Berna Bouwer, Kevin Baskerville, Amina Alyafei, Tristan Lavender, and Adam McNeill.
We welcomed internationally recognised professionals, Dr. Asad Raffi and Tristan Lavender, whose presence brought valuable global perspectives, depth, and inspiration to the discussion.
This gathering represents the beginning of a collaborative journey as we, together, look forward to advancing an inclusive UAE where progress serves as a model for the Middle East and beyond.

ONLINE CONFERENCE - MAIN
The International Neurodiversity Conference 2026 brought together a global community of over 45 speakers and attendees representing more than 35 countries, making it a truly international platform for dialogue, learning, and collaboration.
Across two dynamic online days, participants engaged in three dedicated streams:
-
Organizations & Government
-
Health, Mental Health & Neurodivergence
-
Education, Family & Community
A key highlight of the conference was the keynote address by Atif Choudhury, which set the tone for the event with powerful insights into global neurodiversity, systems change, and inclusion efforts that do not discriminate.
Its theme: Neurodiversity Across the Lifespan, highlighted the life-long nature of neurological differences and hence the need for integrated, sustainable, collaborative approaches to harvesting the diverse human potential and serving diverse needs.
